Robert L. Johnson, Jr., 64, of Warren, Ohio and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in his home. He was born August 21, 1948 in Carmichaels, a son of the late Robert L. Johnson, Sr. and Agnes G. (Dugan) Johnson. Mr. Johnson served with the U. S. Navy with the Seabees and enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting model di-cast cars. He retired as the grounds keeper supervisor for the Lake Sumter Community College in Leesburg, Fla. Mr. Johnson always helped others and cherished his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. On June 1, 1980, he married Bonnie M. McCormick, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Robert D. Mayle and his wife, Leann, of Girard, Ohio, Steven M. Mayle and his wife, Shelley, of Warren and Scott A. Mayle and his fiancé, Paula, of Newton Falls, Ohio; five daughters, Dreama J. Shipman and her husband, Derrick, of Umatilla, Fla., Ann M. Johnson and her companion, Keith, of Sycamore, Pa., Doris E. Roach and her companion, Bill, of Jefferson, Pa., Georginia Clayton and Robin C. King, both of Waynesburg, Pa.; 41 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; four brothers, James C. Johnson and his wife, Rose, of Holbrook, Pa., Charles W. Johnson of Carmichaels, Carl E. Johnson and his wife, Shirley, of Bobtown, Pa. and John R. Johnson and his fiancé, Delilah, of Smithfield, Pa.; three sisters, Susan M. Sanders and her husband, Roland, of Carmichaels, Virginia C. Helmick and her husband, Raymond, of Navarre, Ohio and Janet L. Anderson and her husband, Joe, of Bobtown and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his sister and her husband, Sally and Robert Becker. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2013. The Rev. Bruce R. Judy will officiate. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa. with military honors accorded by American Legion Post 400 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491. The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to All Caring Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Rd., Building B, Suite 101, Canfield, OH 44406.
