Eva Marjorie Zorich

Eva Marjorie Zorich, 84, of Waynesburg (Morgan Township), Pa., and formerly of Carnegie, Pa., died at 3:20 A.M. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg. She was born on December 3, 1928 in Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Wilbur L. and Opal (Taylor) Knight. Mrs. Zorich was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was active with the softball boosters at the school while her children were attending. She enjoyed growing orchids, flower gardening, cross stitching, crocheting, watching cooking shows and the company of her cat, "Tweets". Mrs. Zorich was known by her family to be a sweet, loving and trusting person. On October 14, 1951, she married Eli Mike Zorich, who died September 24, 2009. Surviving are a son, Eli M. Zorich and his wife, Beverly, of Oakdale, Pa.; a daughter, Eva M. Zorich and her partner, Deborah Monnich, of Jefferson, Pa.; two grandchildren, Christopher Zorich and his wife, Katy, of Mt. Lebanon, Pa. and Jordan Hess of Jefferson and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sons, Edward M. Zorich and Eric M. Zorich. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home , Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Pastor John Rich Dorean will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Rd Waynesburg, PA 15370.
