William H. Barnhart, 83 of Masontown, Pa., formerly of the Greene County area, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. following a lengthy illness. He was born August 8, 1930 in Mather, Pa. a son of the late Samuel J. and Nellie (Marshall) Barnhart. Mr. Barnhart was a 1948 Graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School. He was a truck driver for Coca Cola in Waynesburg for 16 years and later was co owner of Kleer Kable Company in Waynesburg from 1963 to 1980. Mr. Barnhart enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the horse races at Mountaineer Race Track, where he also owned a few horses at one time. On October 22, 1960 he married Jean (Meighen) Barnhart, who survives. Also surviving is a son William "Doug" Barnhart of Masontown; one step daughter Beverly White and her husband, Ray of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Arrangements are private and under the direction of Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
