Judith Tanner Mann, 70, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born November 25, 1942 in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Ira Wayne and Opal Marie (Jones) Tanner. Mrs. Mann was a 1960 graduate of Mapletown High School, received a bachelors degree in education from California State Teacher's College and a masters degree from Potomac State College of WVU at Kaiser, W. Va. Mrs. Mann taught school in Annapolis, Md., King George County, Va., Spotsylvania, Va. and Cumberland, Md. Later, she worked at the former First Federal of Carnegie in Carmichaels and retired in 1992 from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare in Waynesburg. She enjoyed reading, listening to Elvis' music, flower arranging and arts and crafts. On April 10, 1966, she married Charles H. Mann, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jeffrey C. Mann, at home; a brother, David Wayne Tanner of Greensboro (Mapletown), Pa. and several cousins. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday in the funeral home. The Rev. John W. Hodge will officiate. The graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Fairview-Kiger Cemetery, Whiteley Township, Greene County, Pa.
