Bonnie L. Pesuti, 92, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 1:05 A.M. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Donnell House, Washington, Pa. She was born February 15, 1921 in Jane Lew, W. Va., a daughter of the late James W. Brown and Goldie (Hitt) Brown Crago. Mrs. Pesuti resided in Carmichaels most of her life where she was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and knitting. Mrs. Pesuti always had a pleasant and positive attitude. On October 26, 1940 she married Alphonso A. Pesuti, who died July 9, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Anthony A. Pesuti and his wife, Norma, of Carmichaels and James Pesuti and his wife, Wanda, of Crucible, Pa.; six grandchildren, Anthony Pesuti, Jr, Joseph Pesuti, Patricia Celaschi, Jaime McFadden, Christine Dilts and Robert Pesuti; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Marcin of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Charles Brown and Butch Brown and two sisters, Stella McCoy and Goldie "Dodo" Smith. There will be no public viewing and a memorial service is being planned at a later date at the First Christian Church in Carmichaels.
