Anita Leslie Hilty

Anita Leslie Hilty, 43, of Apollo, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died unexpectedly at 4:00 A.M. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, Pa. She was born July 11, 1970 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Donald L. Leslie, Sr. of Greensboro and the late Marjorie M. (Loucks) Leslie. Anita was a 1988 graduate of Mapletown High School where she was a color guard. She attended the Uniontown Church of the Nazarene and was employed at General Hearing Aid Center in Uniontown. Anita enjoyed traveling, crocheting and "getting her nails done". She was a true "Dance Mom" for her daughter, Jessica. Anita loved to laugh and was a loving and caring wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was "Granny Rita" to her granddaughter, LilliAnn. On November 12, 2013, she married Kenneth O. Hilty, Jr., who survives. Also surviving in addition to her husband and father are two daughters, Jessica R. Leslie Hilty, at home and Shawnie Hilty of Vandergrift, Pa.; a son, Todd Hilty and his wife, Katie, of Apollo; a granddaughter, LilliAnn Hilty; two brothers, Donald L. Leslie, Jr. and his wife, Teresa and Douglas L. Leslie, all of Greensboro; three sisters, Deborah L. Reynolds and her husband, Gary, of Waynesburg, Pa., Marlene M. Leslie of Greensboro and Audrey E. Ford of Point Marion, Pa.; two nephews Evan and Joshua Reynolds and three nieces, Kathryn Leslie, Ashley Lewis and Alisha Ford and her best friend, Lauren Christmas-Sickles of Washington, Pa. Deceased in addition to her mother is a sister, Richelle "Shelly" L. Leslie. Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. There will be no visitation on Memorial Day, May 26. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the mausoleum chapel at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. The Rev. Michael Lyons will officiate. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
