Edith Myrtle Miner, 96, of Masontown, Pa., died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Golden LivingCenter, Uniontown, Pa. She was born March 6, 1918 in South Union Township, Fayette County, Pa. a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Whoolery) Miner. Miss Miner resided in Masontown most of her life where she was a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church. She was the caregiver for her parents. Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Helmick and Norma Dunham, both of Baltimore, Md.; several nieces and nephews including Eugene "Dutch" King of Carmichaels, Pa. and several great nieces and nephews. Deceased are a lifelong friend, John Mego, a sister, Virginia (Miner) King and two brothers, Robert Miner and Francis Miner. A private family visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Yoskovich Funeral Home in Carmichaels, Pa. Family and friends are welcome to attend the committal service at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the mausoleum chapel at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. The Rev. Bruce R. Judy will officiate.
