Linda L. Lacich, age 71, of Greensboro, Pa., formerly of Waynesburg, Pa. died Thursday, December 17, 2014 in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. following a lengthy illness. She was born August 26, 1943 in Washington, Pa. a daughter of the late Irwin Lee and Velma Luella (Bates) Gary. Mrs. Lacich graduated high school and attended The Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill. Upon returning to the Greene County area she served as a Constable for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. Mrs. Lacich enjoyed knitting, crocheting, genealogy and was a loving wife, mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. On November 8, 1969 she married John Lacich, who survives. Also surviving are three sons; Donald D. Nelson, and his wife, Christine, of Fredericktown, Pa., John P. Lacich, II of Greensboro, and Shawn D. Lacich, and his wife, Barbara, of Greensboro; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Santos, and her husband, Israel, of Arnold, Md. and Amy J. Lacich of Smithfield, Pa.; Eight grandchildren, Jessica, Adante, Malachi, Sean, Connor, Merrill, Michaela and Michael; one great grandson, Nico and one sister Sheila Carter, and her husband, Mac, of Hickory, Pa. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased in addition to her parents are two brothers, Denny and Dale Wilson and one sister, Betty Frye. Family and friends are welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where services will be held on Saturday evening, December 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Hughes officiating. Interment will be held privately in Monongahela Hill Cemetery.
