Martha Billetz, 90, of Carrollton, Tex., and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at her home in Carrollton. She was born November 18, 1924 in Montour Run, Pa., a daughter of the late Steve and Anna (Milush) Gulan. Mrs. Billetz lived most of her life in Greensboro. After graduating from high school, Mrs. Billetz worked in a glass factory in Sabraton, W. Va. On June 18, 1949, she married George Billetz, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 10, 2008. She was very proud of their 59 year marriage and her family. Mrs. Billetz was a member of the former Holy Family Catholic Church in Greensboro. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved cooking, baking, crocheting and enjoyed making crafts and painting well into her later years. Mrs. Billetz also enjoyed polka music and dancing. Surviving are two sons, Rick Billetz and his wife, Nancy, of McKinney, Tex. and their daughter, Mia; George, Billetz, Jr. and his wife, Melody, of Palm Coast, Fla. and their children, Gerrad and his wife, Alicja, and Marisa and daughter, Ariana, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Elizabeth (Gulan) Messich of Parma, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Billetz was preceded in death by her sister Mildred (Gulan) Scheuring.
