Lenora Crockett Yanosh

Lenora Crockett Yanosh, 97, of Wilmore, Ky. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., widow of Lewis "Dick" Yanosh, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born April 2,1917 in Fredericktown, Pa. to the late William and Anna (Warner) Crockett. Mrs. Yanosh lived many years in Greensboro. She and her late husband Dick celebrated 59 years of marriage. Mrs. Yanosh enjoyed working with greenware and painting and firing ceramic items. She moved to Wesley Village in 1998 and joined the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Mrs. Yanosh is survived by her three daughters, Norann Y. Planchock (Jerry) of Shreveport, La., Ludene Y. Capone of Bowie, Md. and Dickie Lee Porter (Dexter) of Wilmore; five grandchildren, Marda Planchock Collings (Jon) of Kansas City, Mo., Leann Planchock Gage (Joe) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Isaac W. Porter (Melissa) of Durham, N. C., Jared L. Porter (Sara) of Wilmore and Anna Lee Porter Brown (Matthew) of Wilmore and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Yanosh is preceded in death by a son Charles William Yanosh and a brother William Warner Crockett. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa. with Mr. Dexter Porter officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Road, Wilmore KY 40390.
