Rev. Sharon L. Hornberger Brown

Reverend Sharon L. Hornberger-Brown, 68, of Waynesburg, Pa., died in her home on Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015. She was born June 23, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Ernie and Lois (Eichler) Hornberger. Rev. Hornberger-Brown graduated from Denison University in 1967, Yale Divinity School in 1970, and Boston College Law School in 1978. She is survived by her only son, Nathaniel Thatcher Dennett Brown of Philadelphia, Pa. She enjoyed spending time at book club, with her cat, Zeke, as well as rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a beloved mother, and she will be missed dearly. There will be a private memorial service. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, 30 Brimmer Street, Boston, MA 02108.
