Valetta Cousins

Valetta "Letty" Cousins, 86, of Delaware County, Pa. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 in West Chester, Pa. She was born October 3, 1928 in West Virginia and was raised in Garards Fort, Pa. Mrs. Cousins was the loving mother of Nelda Benecke; cherished grandmother of Matthew Illich and his wife, Michele, with whom she resided and Lori Ostermayer and her husband, David; great grandmother of Matthew and Mara Rose Illich and Maxwell and Evelyn Ostermayer; dear aunt of Janice Yoppi, Al Yoppi and his wife, Marie, Diane Bierer and many great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Cousins. Family and friends are invited to the blessing of her cremains at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the chapel at St. Mary's Cemetery (Our Lady of Perpetual Help), 120 Springer Road, McClellandtown, PA 15458. The Rev. John M. Bauer will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
