Paul F. Norris, 67, of Carmichaels, Pa., died unexpectedly at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born November 25, 1947 in Nemacolin, Pa., a son of the late Cleo and Metta (Keys) Norris. Mr. Norris was a 1966 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and resided in Cumberland Township, Greene County all of his life. He served with the U. S. Army in Vietnam. Mr. Norris worked at the Nemacolin Mine, the Emerald Mine, the Consolidated Coal Company Enlow Fork Mine and retired as a foreman from the Emerald Mine. After retirement, he worked as an electrical inspector part time for Ketchum Construction Company in Waynesburg and also as a driver for First Student for the past year. Mr. Norris attended the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church and was a member of Valley Lodge No. 459, F. & A. M., Masontown, Pa. He enjoyed his dogs, cars, flower gardening and feeding the birds. On July 25, 1990, he married Darlene L. Skiles, who survives. Also surviving are a son, P. Edward Norris of Masontown; two daughters, Kristy Norris of Ohio and Holly L. Riffle of Carmichaels; five grandchildren; a nephew, David Skiles of Fairfax, Va. and a special friend, John DiBiase, III of Carmichaels. Deceased is a brother, Charles Norris. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. Services and military interment rites at Greene County Memorial Park will be private. Valley Lodge No. 459, F. & A. M. will conduct Masonic Services at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 363, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
