Robert "Bob" Colley, Sr.

Robert "Bob" Colley, Sr., age 66, of Waynesburg, Pa. (Morgan Township), died in his home, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 following a brief illness. He was born April 13, 1949 in Brier Hill, Pa., a son of the late William B. and Virginia D. (Martin) Colley, Sr. Mr. Colley graduated from Uniontown High School and had resided in the Jefferson area since 1983. He worked for 30 years at Greene County Memorial Park. Mr. Colley was a member of the Centerville Boro Sportsman Club and the Marianna Field and Stream Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, shooting archery and also playing Dartball with the Jefferson Methodist and Bethlehem Baptist churches in the Greene County Dartball league. Mr. Colley was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially taking them to local fishing derbies. Surviving are his wife Joan Patterson Colley; one son, Bobby F. Colley, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Mather, Pa.; three daughters, Lisa L. Dorsey, and her husband, Raymond of Waynesburg, Laura M. Yoder, and her husband, Lloyd and Joanna Duda, and her husband, Mark both of Uniontown, Pa.; two step daughters, Sandy Hammons at home and Bobbie Hammons of Huntington, W. Va., nine grandchildren, Kristin Bradley, Ashley Bradley, K.J. Poole, Charles Yoder, Mark, Daniel, Justin and Tiffany Duda and Chelsea McGraw; one great granddaughter Anyah Naomi Grace Boyd. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Calli. Deceased in addition to his parents are a sister Mary Ellen Lowther and two brothers, James S. Martin and his twin William B. Colley, Jr. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 with Rev. David E. Earnest officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
