Joan Mcintire

      Joan McIntire, 86, of Greensboro, Pa., died unexpectedly at 8:11 A.M. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born May 20, 1929 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Willis and Mildred (Debolt) Blaker. Mrs. McIntire was a 1947 graduate of Mapletown High School and resided in the Greensboro and Mapletown areas most of her life. She was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church and the Carmichaels Senior Center. Mrs. McIntire retired in 1992 as a cashier at the cafeteria of the Ruby Memorial Hospital after working there for 20 years. Her passion in life was taking care of her family. On July 6, 1949, she married Denzil McIntire who died October 6, 1987.

Surviving are a son, Denny McIntire and his wife, Nancy, of Greensboro; two daughters, Coral Dianne Haggan of Cambridge, Mass. and Beverly Cloutier and her husband, Roland, of Greensboro; six grandchildren, Goein Smith and her husband, Ed, Roland Cloutier, Jr. and his wife, Carol, Thomas Allen Cloutier and his wife, Jennifer, Crystal Smith and her husband, Rick, Erin McIntire and Patrick Haggan; seven great grandchildren, Paige and Jaclyn Smith, Mackenzie, Nicolette and Abigail Cloutier and Jimmy and K-cee Smith and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a great grandson, R. C. Cloutier, III; two brothers, Robert Blaker and William Blaker and a son-in-law, William Haggan.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday February 6, 2016. Pastor Tim Tanner will officiate. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa
