Robert A. Schneider

Robert A. Schneider, 76, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 4:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. He was born July 7, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Robert Colteryahn and Clara F. (Dickinson) Schneider. Mr. Schneider was a 1958 graduate of Cumberland Township High School and attended Delaware Valley College of Agriculture and barber's school. He was a former member of the Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent and a member of the choir. Mr. Schneider also was a former member of Carmichaels Grange No. 1389 and the Warrior Trails Association. He attended the Waynesburg Senior Center where he called bingo and was affectionately know as "Bingo Bob". In his youth, was a member of the 4-H and in the 1990's, he volunteered at Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Follett of Waynesburg, Clara Ottria of Carmichaels and Katherine Kerr and her husband, Richard, of Carmichaels; six nieces and nephews, Deborah Follett, Denise Collins, Jeffrey Lochmiller, Carolyn Alexander and her husband, Daniel, Pam Fields and her husband, William and Valerie Lapana and her husband, Nick and several great nieces and nephews. Deceased is a great niece, Ashlee Collins.

Family and friends are welcome from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 7, 2016 with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow at Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
