Kay "Keitha" Humbert, 78, of Greensboro, Pa., died Saturday morning, June 4, 2016 in her home. She was born February 13, 1938 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Lloyd M. and Lettie B. (Steele) Moore. Mrs. Humbert was a 1957 graduate of Waynesburg High School and received her associate degree from Anne Arundal Community College, Arnold, Md. She was currently attending the First Baptist Church in Carmichaels and in her early years, was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. From May of 1958 until October of 1965, she worked as a customer service representative for the National Geographic Society. Mrs. Humbert was an accomplished artist in oil, pen and ink, charcoal and water color. She enjoyed craft work and was involved in square dance clubs in the great Chicago area. On March 22, 1958, she married Donald D. Humbert, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Donald L. Humbert of San Jose, Cal. and Vien K. Humbert, at home and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Kay Elby.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Pastor Charles H. Sowden will officiate.
Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, 775 S. Eighty Eight Rd., Carmichaels, PA 15320.
