Carol Ann Bolz

Carol Ann Bolz, 62, of Crucible, Pa., died at 9:11 P.M. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. She was born February 7, 1954 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa, a daughter of Carl and Shirley A. (Johnson) Bolz of Sun City West, Ariz. Carol Ann was a 1972 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School, received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She resided in Crucible most of her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carmichaels. Carol Ann was active with the United Methodist Women and enjoyed traveling. She began teaching food service at the Greene County Career and Technology Center in Waynesburg, Pa. and then taught special education at Jefferson-Morgan Elementary School for most of her career. Carol Ann was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, the National Education Association and the Greene County Association for Retired Public Employees.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Mark E. Bolz and his wife, Linda, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Annette M. Blum and her husband, Bruce, of Frederick, Md. and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. The Rev. Dayton D. Mix will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 101 West South Street, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
