Daunice W. Rankin Robinson

Daunice W. Rankin Robinson, 90, of Rices Landing, Pa., died at 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Washington Health System - Greene, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born January 29, 1926 in Revere, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late Arthur and Lottie Daunice (Miller) Rankin. Mrs. Robinson resided in Rices Landing most of her life where she was a member of the Greene Valley Church of God. She enjoyed preparing meals at her church and had worked as a seamstress for many years. In 1965, she graduated from the Modern School of Practical Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pa. On February 20, 1947, she married Charles Swift, Jr., who died May 5, 1961. She then married Oliver James Teegarden on August 18, 1977 and he died January 31, 1982. On March 17, 1986, she married John Robinson who died August 17, 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Charlene W. Chulick and her husband, Barry, of Rices Landing; a granddaughter, Winona L. Chulick of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Eileen Sullenberger and her husband, Schuyler, of Clarksville, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Arthur Rankin and Gerald Rankin and four sisters, Anna Vargo, Ruth Snyder, Evelyn Chalovich and Margaret George.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dayton D. Mix officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 A. M. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, Pa. for the graveside committal service.
