George Frederick

George Frederick, 79, of Brunswick, Ohio and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. He was born on October 20, 1936 in Greensboro, Pa., a son of the late George E. and Mary (Powelko) Frederick. George was a 1954 graduate of Mapletown High School. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, retired from LTV Steel Corporation and was a member of St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick. On June 2, 1962, he married his beloved wife, Victoria V. Molek, who died on February 16, 2016. His love and devotion to his bride of 53 years will forever be remembered by his family and friends.

George will be dearly missed by his children MaryAnne Kapel (Gregory), George Frederick (Amy) and Michael Frederick (Linda); his grandchildren Kayla, Gregory, Robert, Brynne, Caroline, Jillian, Emmerson and Bennett; his sisters Mary Ann Dombrowski (Stanley) and Linda Frederick.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, September 5 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Brunswick, Ohio. Burial with honors followed at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
