Jay Bradmon

Jay Bradmon, 85, of Rices Landing, Pa. and formerly of Macomb County, Mich., died at 5:50 A.M. on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in his home. He was born April 28, 1931 in Grindstone, Pa., a son of the late Howard Russell and Gladys (Nutt) Bradmon. Mr. Bradmon served with the U. S. Air Force in Guam during the Korean Conflict and was Deacon Emeritus at the First Christian Church in Carmichaels. He was a member of Mt. Clemens Lodge No. 6 F. & A. M., Mt. Clemens, Mich., the Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Detroit and Moslem Shrine A. A. O. N. M. S., Southfield, Mich. Mr. Bradmon retired as a automobile salesman for several dealerships in Michigan and resided in Rices Landing for the past 12 years. He enjoyed reading, boating and gardening. On May 23, 1970, he married Phyllis A. Doherty, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Guy Howard Bradmon and his wife, Heather, of Gladwin, Mich.; a daughter, Judith Roney of Michigan; five grandchildren, Jess Bradmon, Shelby Bradmon, Dominic Bernabei, Laura Bernabei and Jenna Bernabei; six great grandchildren; a brother, Howard "Bud" Bradmon and his wife, Sara Ann, of Rices Landing; a sister, Sue Weinschenker and her husband, Don, of Rices Landing and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Lloyd Bradmon, James Bradmon and Wayne R. Bradmon and a sister, Nancy Kamenos.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 with the Rev. Reagan L. Fike officiating.

Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing with military honors accorded by the Carmichaels Honor Guard and the U. S. Air Force.

Valley Lodge No. 459, F. & A. M. will conduct Masonic Services at 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
