Dolores Alexander

Dolores Alexander, 90, of Masontown, Pa., died at 3:37 P.M. on Friday, December 16, 2016 in her home. She was born April 16, 1926 in Masontown, a daughter of the late Domizio and Emilia (Pisani) Battaglini. Mrs. Alexander was a graduate of German Township High School and resided in Masontown most of her life. She and her late husband, Pat, owned and operated an automotive and industrial supply company in Masontown in which she was an integral part in the development and operation of the company. Mrs. Alexander was a member of American Legion Post 423 Auxiliary in Masontown. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. On November 8, 1947, she married Pat Alexander, who died December 1, 2015.

Surviving are a son, Pat "Biff" Alexander and his wife, Linda, of central Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Todd T. Alexander and his wife, Andria, of Montgomery, Ala., Anna T. Alexander and Biff S. Alexander, both of York, Pa.; four great grandchildren, Joel, Nathan, Luke and Micah Alexander; a sister, Myrna Quintana of Masontown and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Deceased are a grandson, Neil D. Alexander, a brother, Denis Battaglini and a sister, Derna Girella.

There will be no public viewing and all arrangements are private.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the donor's local Salvation Army.
