Loretta Uglik

Loretta Uglik, 85, of Carmichaels, Pa. died Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Md., following a brief illness.  She was born October 15, 1931 in Nemacolin, Pa. a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Wozny) Jurczak.  Mrs. Uglik was a 1949 graduate of Cumberland Township High School and resided in the Carmichaels area all of her life.  She was a homemaker and member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels.  She married Anthony “Junior” Uglik, who died May 28, 2015.

Surviving are a son, Anthony Allen Uglik and his wife, Barbara, of Mt. Airy, Md., two granddaughters, Kristin Marie Uglik of Baltimore, Md. and Megan Ann Talley and her husband, Jeffrey, of Leonardtown, Md.; a great granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Talley; a sister, Betty Salvi of Masontown, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are three brothers, Frank Jurczak, Jess Jurczak and Edward Jurczak and three sisters Helen Hoover, Mary Kostura and Dorothy Kozel.

Arrangements and entombment are private.
