Shawn C. Christopher

Shawn C. Christopher, 39, of Carmichaels, Pa. died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was born December 15, 1977 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of Charles M. Christopher of Crucible, Pa. and Sharon Lee (Deblock) Kowalczyk and her husband, Charles “Tuna” Kowalczyk of Carmichaels. Shawn was a 1996 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and had last worked for Christopher Backhoe and Plumbing, Inc. in Carmichaels.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a son, Ethan S. Christopher of Nemacolin, Pa.; a brother, Ryan M. Christopher, and his wife, Melissa, of Carmichaels; a sister, Lisa Ann Blaker and her husband, Scott, of Carmichaels; the mother of his son, Kari Diamond, of Nemacolin and her daughter, Nya Diamond and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Deceased are his brother, Charles A. Christopher; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Isobel Christopher and his maternal grandparents, M. Carl and Patricia Deblock.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2017. The Rev. Dayton D. Mix will officiate.

Interment will be private.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
