Christine F. Gallatin

Christine F. Gallatin, 70, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 7:15 P.M. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born May 6, 1947 in Greensburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Angelo and Sue (Rebar) Conte. Mrs. Gallatin retired in 2007 from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Waynesburg, Pa. On May 28, 1966, she married Charles J. Gallatin, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, James Gallatin (Erica), of Uniontown, Pa.; a daughter, Lisa R. Young of Washington, Pa.; two grandchildren, Hanna McConnell and Matthew Cubberly, both of Washington; a great granddaughter, Sophia McConnell; a brother, Michael Conte and his wife, Lee, of Phillipsburg, Pa.; a sister, Suzanne Conte Bowman and her husband, Ron, of Skiatook, Okla. and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Laura Marie Gallatin, died September 5, 1972.

There will be no public viewing and all arrangements are private and entrusted to the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
