Mildred L. Minor (Sue Brown)

February 16, 1947 — June 17, 2017

Mildred Lorraine Minor (Sue Brown), 70, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at her home in Mather, Pa. She was a devout Christian and loved teaching Sunday school to children. Sue enjoyed playing with all children whether they were related to her or not. Children kept her young at heart and brought her the most joy in the world. Sue liked music, dancing and singing. She especially enjoyed watching her family play music together. Everyone in her family called her "Nan Nan" or "Sue", and she will always be remembered as the grandmother that took every kid on adventures, fishing, camping, swimming, to county fairs, playing late night Yahtzee and anything the kids wanted to do hours on end.

Sue had worked in many different professions, from home improvement to waitressing. Her job before retirement was working for Greene ARC taking care of the mentally challenged elderly and young alike. After many years of caring for people, she still continued to care for everyone and anyone that needed her. She was a very selfless person and loved everyone and everyone loved her. With an endless amount of family and loved ones, Nan Nan will always be remembered and be a reminder to all of us to smile more and to have a kind heart.

Sue leaves behind two loving sons, Scott Brown and Timothy Brown and his wife, Carrie, and was the proud "Nan Nan" of Myndi Brown Devinger, Nia Noel Brown, Shane Bebber, Mario Bebber, Megan Aitken, Carrisa Scates, Chelsee Scates and Steven Scates. She was also blessed with 19 great grandchildren and an additional one on the way. Sue was a loving Nan Nan, mother, daughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Sue joins her beloved late mother and best friend, Millie Brown Newson, two sisters and three brothers.
