Cecelia M. Gregorich, 89, of Masontown, Pa. and formerly of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 8:23 P.M. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown. She was born October 23, 1927 in Arnettsville, W. Va., a daughter of the late Flores and Benita (Garrido) Quintana. Mrs. Gregorich was a 1946 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels, Pa. and retired in 1986 as a licensed practical nurse from the Curry Memorial Home, Waynesburg, Pa. She was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church in Nemacolin and a former member of the Christian Mothers. On June 26, 1948, she married Charles J. Gregorich, who died October 1, 2013.
Surviving are two sons, Edward C. Gregorich and his wife, Carol, of Lebanon, Pa. and James N. Gregorich and his wife, Susan, of Waynesburg, Pa.; a daughter, Kathryn A. Angelini and her husband, Mark, of Washington, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Nicole Sturges and her husband, Elton, Danielle Gregorich, Christopher Gregorich and his wife, Corrie, Jason Gregorich, Jennifer Gregorich, Keith Gregorich, Kristin Stewart and her husband, Greg, and Whitney Angelini; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Carmen Kerr and her husband, William, of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Joseph Quintana and Nicholas Quintana and three sisters, Virginia Zaubi, Mary Ustupski and Frances Zaubi.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, July 21, 2017, followed at 11:00 A. M. by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Crucible, Pa.
A vigil service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
