Judy A. Henderson

Judy A. Henderson, 68, of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died Friday, July 21, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born December 15, 1948 in Spencer, W. Va., a daughter of the late Hobert and Claris (Smith) Harold. Mrs. Henderson was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church at Elana, W. Va., Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491 Auxiliary, Carmichaels where she served as president and Cumberland American Legion Post 400 Auxiliary, Carmichaels. She cooked and tended bar in many taverns including the former Just Bills in Carmichaels. Later, Mrs. Henderson worked as a long haul trucker and then for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for a short time. She made her former home in Greensboro with the late Homer Garrison, who was the light of her life. Mrs. Henderson cherished her dog, Puppy.

Surviving are three son, Christopher C. Cottrell and his wife, Tina, and Chuck R. Cottrell, all of Ravenna, Ohio and Jesse J. Henderson and his wife, Rebecca of Streetsboro, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tiffany Cottrell, Heather Cottrell, McKenzie Cottrell, Isaac T. Henderson and Alaina Henderson; three brothers, Robert Harold and Newton, W. Va., Lowell Harold and his wife, Gina, of Wallback, W. Va. and Rev. David Harold of Lynchburg, Va.; a sister, Karen Harmison and her husband, Van, of Silver Spring, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Donald Harold and Gale Harold and two sisters, Juanita Harold and Ruth Cooper.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Smith Family Cemetery , Uler Road, Newton, W. Va. with the Rev. David Harold officiating.
