Yvette Rae Shelott

Yvette Rae Shelott, 61, of Greensboro, Pa., died at 8:00 A.M. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at her home. She was born August 19, 1956 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Patricia J. (Sickles) Martin of Fairchance, Pa. and the late Charles Martin. Mrs. Shelott was a 1976 graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School and was employed by ARC in Uniontown and Waynesburg, Pa. and lastly by TEC in Washington, Pa. as a drivers license technician at the Pennsylvania Department of Motor Vehicles. She enjoyed crafting, traveling and partly planning and decorating. Mrs. Shelott "lived" for her grandchildren. On July 9, 1977, she married Stephen J. Shelott, Jr. who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Brandy S. Welda and her husband, Richard, of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Remmington Welda, Zachary Welda, Kaylee Welda, Jacob Welda, Leo Welda, Raelle Welda, Stephen Shelott, IV and Paige Halbert; five brothers, Vincent Sickles, Charles Sickles and his wife, (Dorthea) and Kevin Martin and his wife, Sherri, all of Uledi, Pa., Bradley Martin and his wife, Dawn of Smithfield, Pa. and Doug Martin and his wife, Tracy of Rices Landing, Pa.; five sisters, Rosana Bodkin and her husband, Tom, Charlene Pierce and her husband, Chaz and Dee Barkley, all of Uniontown, Pa., Crystal Neil and her husband, Timothy, of Jefferson, Pa. and Andrea Christopher and her husband, Shawn, of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her father is a brother, Lonnie Sickles.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.

Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the residence of Crystal and Timothy Neil, 176 Gwynn Road, Jefferson, PA 15344.
