Cheryl L. Cloutier

December 20, 1972 — August 29, 2017

Cheryl L. Cloutier, 44, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 9:05 A. M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. after a year long illness. She was born December 20, 1972 in Morgantown, W. Va., a daughter of Homer R. and Sandra A. (Clark) Headlee, Jr. of Carmichaels. Her fiancé, Dr. James Kunkle, of Pittsburgh, Pa., survives. Cheryl was a 1990 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and enjoyed skydiving with her fiancé, James, and nephew, Tim, scuba diving, bungee jumping, horseback riding, parasailing and traveling. She was a season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. Cheryl traveled extensively to Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Aruba, Cancun, Canada, Florida, Las Vegas and to the Grand Canyon.

Cheryl received her associates in specialized business degree in paralegalism from Duff's Business Institute in Pittsburgh in April of 1994 and a bachelor of science in accounting from Strayer University in Pittsburgh in 2011. She worked as a paralegal at Tompkins Law Offices in Waynesburg, Pa. and Morgantown, W. Va. from 1994 until 1996 and as the office manager for Kiwi Contracting in Morgantown from 1998 until 1999. Cheryl was the office manager for Town & Country Apartments in Morgantown from 1999 until 2001 and worked in accounting and payroll for Blands, Omax & Richard Construction, Inc. in Morgantown from 2001 until 2002. She worked for Superior Fibers in Reedsville, W. Va. from 2003 until 2006. Cheryl was employed by RPM Industries, LLC in Washington, Pa. as a staff accountant from 2006 until 2010 and then as accounting systems manager from 2010 until 2014. She was employed until June of this year with Solomon Edwards Group in Canonsburg, Pa.

Surviving in addition to her parents are five brothers, Homer "Ray" Headlee, III of Morgantown, Edward Headlee and his wife, Mary, of Carmichaels, David Headlee and his wife, Alice, of Fredericktown, Pa., Michael Headlee and his wife, Janet, of Fayette City, Pa. and John Henderson and his companion, Alice, of Crucible, Pa.; three sisters, Marianne Strope and her husband, Larry, of Carmichaels, Linda Robuck and her husband, George, of Adger, Ala. and Amy Gomez and her companion, Dan Shorter, of Carmichaels and 24 nieces and nephews.

Cheryl's son, R. C. (Roland) Cloutier, III, died September 24, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Homer and Virginia Headlee, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, John and Mona R. Clark and her great grandmother, Ocie Belle Yeager.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M. on Saturday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 3, 2017. The Rev. Bruce R. Judy will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, Pa.
