Agnes G. Lemunyon, 97, formerly of Greensboro (Sugar Grove), Pa., died at 4:13 P.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Point Manor Personal Care Home, Point Marion, Pa. She was born May 21, 1921 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Francis M. and Dessie May (Pratt) Fox. Mrs. Lemunyon attended Greene Township School and resided in Greene County most of her life. She was a former member of the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle. On July 24, 1937, she married John E. Lemunyon, who died October 1, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Velva Furno of Richwood, Ohio, Marie Zalar and her husband, Steve, of Greensboro and Stephanie Dorsey and her husband, Jerry, of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Rosemary Price, Holly Beth Ebleberger and her husband, Ted, Ernie Jamison, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, Johnny Lemunyon, Terri Marghella and her husband, Tony, Tonya Woodring and her husband, Joe, Stephen Zalar and his wife, Jessica and Tabitha Dorsey and her husband, Tommy; several great and great great grandchildren; a brother, Allen Fox of Lenora, N. C.; a sister, Mary Jane Hardy of Point Marion and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a son, John D. Lemunyon; grandson, Jerry Dorsey, Jr.; a great grandson, Jack Musgrave, Jr.; five brothers, Thomas Fox, Franklin J. Fox, John C. Fox, Robert E. Fox and Delbert D. Fox; five sisters, Letta Wade, Emma Belford, Evelyn Stewart, Myrtle Morris and Betty Wilson and a son-in-law, Fred Furno.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 with Pastor Fred W. Tomlinson officiating.
A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Garards Fort Cemetery with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating.
