Ann Bartock Kerr, 97, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in her home. She was born May 10, 1927 in Lambert, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late Fred and Rose (Haberer) Bartock. Mrs. Kerr was a 1945 graduate of South Union Township High School and resided in Carmichaels most of her life. She began working as a bookkeeper at Wade's Body & Frame Shop, Inc. in Waynesburg, Pa. in 1973 and retired in 2003. After retirement, Mrs. Kerr worked for several years as a self employed bookkeeper. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bingo and her visits to the casino. Mrs. Kerr participated in a women's bowling competition that was featured on local television.
Surviving are a son, William G. Kerr, Jr. (Tonya) of Mt. Union, Pa.; twin daughters, Diana L. Kerr of Carmichaels and Donna K. Waine (Freddie) of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Dawn Marie Clark (Anthony), Dr. Vaughn L. Mankey (Celina) and Freddie Waine, Jr. (Bre); seven great grandchildren, Alex Clark, Braylon Clark, Aiden Waine, Colton Waine, Harrison Mankey, Easton Waine and Greyson Waine and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are five brothers, Freddie Bartock who died in infancy, Joseph Bartock, John Bartock, Eugene Bartock and Anthony Bartock; the father of her children, William G. Kerr, Sr. and her longtime companion, Ronald Morris.
Family and friends are welcome from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2024 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 5:00 P.M. on Friday with the Rev. Carl Leipold officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Carmichaels and Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 123, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
