Antonio C. Tiberi

Antonio C. Tiberi, 73, of Greensboro, Pa., passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va.  He was born February 21, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late Louis E. and Violet J. (Ogrodny) Tiberi.  Antonio was a 1969 graduate of Uniontown High School and worked at the former Robena and Dilworth coal mines.  On July 1, 2024, he retired from the Bailey Mine as head mechanic.  Antonio was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and enjoyed doing puzzle books, watching crime dramas and playing his guitar.  On July 13, 1991, he married Shari Gober, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Harley Tiberi at home and his eight fur babies.  Deceased is a son, Tony Tiberi and a sister, Lois J. Petrazzi.

There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County , 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
