Bernadette Klamerus

Bernadette Klamerus, of Carmichaels, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born October 21, 1957 in Waynesburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret A. (Donelich) Klamerus.

Bernie was a 1975 graduate of the Carmichaels Area High School, a 1979 graduate of Cal State College and a 1986 graduate of West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She worked in area pharmacies throughout her career including the Giant Eagle Pharmacies in Uniontown and Waynesburg. Bernie retired from the Giant Eagle Pharmacy in Rices Landing. She was a member of the St. Matthias Parish in Carmichaels.

Surviving are a sister, Margaret A. McCombs (Jerry) of Carmichaels; a brother, Jerry F. Klamerus (Jackie) of Hardeeville, S. C.; two nephews, Jerry McCombs and Justin Klamerus and a great niece, Madison McCombs.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday at the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Marc J. Zmijowski, Supervisor, 300 S. Vine St., Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
