Bobbie Jean Romines, 89, of Carmichaels, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in her home. She was born on June 2, 1936, in Morristown, Tennessee, to the late Lee Randolph and Grace Lee (Moyers) Strange.
In 1954, Bobbie graduated from Morristown High School. On March 29, 1955, she married Clarence E. "Bud" Romines. They moved to Cumberland Township in 1972 and built their lives together, sharing 67 years of marriage until Bud's passing on November 17, 2022. Bobbie was a member of the Mather Christian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling and bingo.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Karen Lee Sowden (John) of Mather; grandchildren, Frank Justin Sowden (Nichole), Ashley Dawn Woodby (Justin), Chase Tyler Sowden (Karisa), James W. Sowden, and John C. "Jack" Sowden (Danielle); great grandchildren, Miles, Dominic, Trenton, Landon, Nathan, Samuel, and Corbin, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Romines Crowe; brother, Roger Lee Strange, and sister, Virginia Mullendore.
Family and friends are welcome from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Carmichaels. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Interment will follow at Laurel Point Cemetery.
