Celissa M. Smolk

Celissa Mae Smolk, 73, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born October 22, 1945 in Rices Landing, Pa., a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Rager) Hixon.

Mrs. Smolk enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, and reading. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Uniontown.

Surviving are her loving husband, Richard Smolk; a son, Thomas Teegarden and his wife Donna, of Rices Landing; and a granddaughter, Emily Teegarden. Deceased is a sister, Mary Kast and a brother, Thomas Hixon II.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa., followed by a funeral service at 8 P.M.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018  in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
