Charles H. Mann, 84, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. He was born July 20, 1939 in Gauley Bridge, W. Va., a son of the late Roy V. and Mamie I. (Rodgers) Mann. Chuck resided in Carmichaels since 1977 and had been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 461, Waynesburg. He worked as the general manager of Acme Markets, Waynesburg, sold insurance for Equitable in Pittsburgh, was a salesman for Cumberland Building Supply and Millsboro Lumber, as general manager of Brodaks in Masontown, Save a Lot, Millsboro, Pa. and Carmichaels Shop N Save. Chuck was last employed as a greeter at Brodaks Shop N Save, Carmichaels. He had attended Mapletown United Methodist Church. On April 10, 1966, he married Judith Tanner, who died October 27, 2013.
Surviving are a son Jeffrey C. Mann of Carmichaels; two brothers, David Mann of Florida and William Mann (Barbara) of Fredericksburg, Va. and a sister, Linda Revis of Staunton, Va. Deceased are a brother, James Mann; a sister, Jean Sargent and his brother-in-law, David W. Tanner.
There will be no public viewing. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Fairview-Kiger Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Haines will officiate.
