Charles Curtis Nieman, affectionately known as "Hink," passed away on April 21, 2026 in Waynesburg. He was born September 21, 1952 the son of the late Harry Boyd Nieman, Jr. and Dolores Jane Atcheson Nieman.

He graduated from Trade School in Ohio, and built a distinguished career as an equipment operator, retiring after many years of service from PennDOT.

Charles was known for his mechanical aptitude, a gift that allowed him to fix almost anything that came his way. His hands-on talents were matched by his passion for hunting. He was also a respected member of the Waynesburg Lodge #153, F&AM. Additionally, he was a devoted member of Greene Valley Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his brother, Harry B. Nieman, III, and sister-in-law Madonna of Brookpark, Ohio, along with cousins Marsha L. Blaker and Allan Blaker. Charles also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Hink will be laid to rest at Greene County Memorial Park. All services are private and entrusted to Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc.
