Cheryl A. Larosa

Cheryl A. LaRosa, age 75 of Carmichaels, Pa. formerly of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in the WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.  She was born December 3, 1948 in Uniontown a daughter of the late Kenneth Smith and Ruth (Friend) Smith Cunningham.  Mrs. LaRosa graduated from Uniontown High School and after attended Beauty School.  She worked as a waitress at the Century Inn, Scenery Hill, Pa. and enjoyed cooking, sewing and cutting friends and family’s hair.  On January 25, 1969 she married Thomas E. LaRosa , who died on January 8, 2021.

Surviving is a son, Thomas E. LaRosa, Jr. of Carmichaels, Pa.; a daughter, Tammy L. Jenkins (Butch) of Uniontown; grandchildren, Jesse and Jenna Jenkins; four brothers, Kenneth Smith (Renee) of Clearwater, Fla., Paul Cunningham, Jr. (Debbie) of Hopwood, Pa., Scott Cunningham and David Cunningham both of Uniontown; three sisters, Cindy Antonelli (Mark), Susan Mitchell (Charles) and Amy Nicklow (Jack) all of Uniontown and her four special dogs, Rocky, Leo, Dexter and Huey.

There will be no public visitation.

Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, Pa. 15370
