Chester Anthony Kuczykowski, 69, of Clarksville, Pa., passed away on September 28, 2025. Born on January 16, 1956, in Brownsville, Pa., Chester was the son of the late Chester R. Kuczykowski and Helen M. Senak Kuczykowski.
Chester was a proud UMWA member and worked for 22 years as a coal miner at the former Bethlehem Steel Marianna Coal Mine in West Bethlehem Township and the Eighty Four Coal Mine. He graduated from Jefferson-Morgan High School in 1974.
Known affectionately as a "Jack of all trades," Chester had a warm heart and a kind soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His love for animals, especially his dog Gizmo, exemplified his nurturing spirit. Chester was a talented mechanic and handyman who could work on anything. Music was another passion of his; he enjoyed singing, writing songs, and playing the guitar. He was also an active member of the California Hill Gun Club. Chester will be remembered for his incredible talent for making the best banana split dessert, which brought smiles to the faces of those who had the pleasure of indulging in his sweet creations.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Chester E. Kuczykowski of Clarksville; his sister, Diana Tedrow (James) of Mather, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Wanda Sterling Kuczykowski, and sisters Evelyn Wells, Jeanette Miller, and Debra Sarafin.
