Denzil E. Coger

Denzil E. Coger, 29, of Waynesburg, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Washington Health System Greene, Waynesburg.  He was born January 27, 1994 in Morgantown, W. Va., a son of Stanley Edward Coger (Venessa Rush) of Carmichaels, Pa. and Shelia M. (DeWitt) Ellis (Michael) of Waynesburg.  Denzil worked as a cook for several local restaurants and was an avid gamer and enjoyed listening to music with his friends.  Most of all, he cherished being an uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three brothers, Patrick E. Coger and Nicholas J. Coger, both of Waynesburg and Michael L. Ellis, Jr. (Emily) of Masontown, Pa.; two sisters, Nicole M. Zywicky (David) of Carmichaels and Candice L. Ellis (Steve) of Masontown; three nieces and nine nephews.  Deceased are his maternal grandparents, John R. Jones, Jr. and Georgia M. Dewitt; his paternal grandparents, Denzil and Mary Coger and two uncles, Daniel E. DeWitt and Randall Coger.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday  in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
