Donald A. Eddy

Donald A. Eddy, 65, of Waynesburg, Pa., passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in his home after a battle with cancer.  He was born December 9, 1958 in Waynesburg, son of the late Jesse and Helen (VanCleve) Eddy.  Don worked many years as an electrician and home remodeler.  He would go above and beyond to make sure that all of his customers were pleased with his work.  Don enjoyed talking to his friends on the telephone as his past time.  Due to his health issues, he would sit and watch out the window as his grandchildren played outside.  Pappy Don loved his grandchildren very much.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Q. Eddy (Kelly) and Danny Eddy (Danielle) both of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Jace, Parker and Madelynne Eddy; a sister, Jessie J. Wise (Glenn) of Spraggs, Pa. and his former wife and the love of his life, his son's mom, Donna L. Eddy.  Any time Don needed Donna, day or night, she was there.  In addition, Don is survived by a cousin and dear friend, Larry Robison; friends, Calvin Linderman and Mark White and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Kenneth Eddy, Mike Eddy and John Eddy; a sister, Janet Smith; grandparents Richard and Pauline VanCleve and Jesse "Dick" and Dorothy Eddy; several aunts and uncles and his beloved dog, Missy, whom he missed very much.

Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.

The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday with Rev. Calvin Linderman officiating.
