Edward H. Ellingsen, age 62 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Waynesburg, Pa., died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the emergency room at Washington Hospital - Greene, Waynesburg after being in kidney failure for the past nine years. He was born March 14, 1956 in Baltimore, Md. a son of the late Ann Marie (DeTrapani) Frost. Mr. Ellingsen was an independent carpenter contractor in the Washington D.C. area for many years. After moving to Ritchie County, W. Va., he worked as a woodcarver. Mr. Ellingsen resided in Carmichaels for the past six months.
Surviving are his wife, Frankie D. Watkins; a son, Jeremiah H. Ellingsen and his wife, Autumn, of Pursglove, W. Va.; two grandchildren, Amelia Clark and Matthew Clark; four sisters, Lara Frost of Waynesburg, Shanna Loeza of Lavon, Tex., Starzy Bisker of Tex. and Joebi Ellingsen of N. Y.; a nephew, Patrick Allen Carl and three nieces, Misty Dawn Matthews, Willa and Cinnamon.
There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation , 2403 Sidney Street, Suite 230, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
