James H. White, II, age 60 of Carmichaels, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on May 6, 1964 a son of the late James Harold and Sharlene E. (Miller) White.
James grew up and lived most of his life in the Nemacolin and Carmichaels areas. He was a 1982 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School. James was a former Fireman and Paramedic at Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department and worked for several local ambulance companies. He later become a Registered Nurse in 2002 and worked for UMPC Presbyterian Hospital until 2015. James then worked from 2015 until his recent illness at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved watching any sports with his son Brandon. On March 12, 1994 he married Patricia R. (Shuckhart) who survives.
Surviving is a son, Brandon J. White of Carmichaels; three brothers, David P. White (Connie) of Morgantown, Dean M. White (Frances) of Reedsville, W. Va. and Glenn Otis White of Finleyville, Pa.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, Wilbur L. White and step brother, Ensil E. Miller.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, FD and Owner and Aaron S. Walker, FD, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025 with the Rev. Andrew Gump, PhD officiating. Interment will be private at Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery.
