James R. "Jimmy" Woodring, Jr., 58, of Waynesburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at UPMC Washington Hospital after a brief illness. He was born February 7, 1967 to James R. and Marianne Woodring.
Throughout his career as a machinist, Jimmy worked in various industries, including Independent Tooling, Ross Mould, Penn Mould, Ross International, Mill Craft Industry, U.S. Steel, and, most recently, Fab Tech. He was a dedicated and hardworking man whose contributions were valued by colleagues and friends alike. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Pamela L. Woodring; his stepdaughters, Crystal Rose (Josh) and Chasity Whitlatch; four brothers, Joseph Woodring (Tonya), Jeffery Woodring (Maurine), Jay Woodring (Felmar) and Justin Woodring (Amy) and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepsons, Jacob and Jamie Fonner.
There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Greene County.
