Janet Louise (Lewis) King Williams, age 80 of Sebastian, Fla., formerly of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach, Fla. She was born April 7, 1938 in Mt. Sterling, Fayette County, Pa. a daughter of the late Wilbur E. Lewis and Hazel (Baker) Lewis Grooms. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of German Township High School. She worked several places throughout her life, as a Hostess for Howard Johnson and a waitress for Popular Inn, but she really enjoyed being a school bus driver for both Laurel Highlands School District and Carmichaels Area School District. Her most prized “job” was being a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was extremely important to her and she loved having everyone together for all the holidays. On July 27, 1991, she married Paul Williams, Sr., who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Belinda M. King of Uniontown, Pa.; sons, Michael E. King and his wife, Dawn of Smithfield, Pa. and Gene R. King and his wife, Marie of Jacksonville, Fla; stepdaughters, Sue Gelosh and her husband, Don of Winchester, Va., Cheryl Rimmel and her husband, Clark of Dilliner, Pa., and Lois Williams of Hopwood, Pa.; stepson, Paul Williams, Jr. and his wife, Jayme of Mt. Braddock, Pa.; grandchildren, Ryan J. Weimer, Jennifer King, Christopher King (Melanie), Nathan King, Amanda Reynolds, Samantha Lonon (Paul), Lacey Jordan, Mikhaila Mazurik, Lee Hodge (Jennifer), Marissa Hodge and Jordan Williams; great grandchildren, Elijah King, Ava Hodge, Veaira Jordan, and Levi Lonon; a sister Hazel Wanda Dobish of New Salem, Pa., a brother Wilbur R. Lewis and his wife, Genevieve of Chalkhill, Pa., and her first husband and the father of her children, Eugene “Dutch” R. King of Carmichaels, Pa. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is a sister Shirley A. Parisi, a brother Charles R. Lewis and a stepdaughter Lynn Williams.
Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Yoskovich Funeral Home , Carmichaels, Pa. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Carmichaels First United Methodist Church, 104 W. South St., Carmichaels, Pa. with the Rev. Dayton D. Mix officiating. Interment will be private in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
