John W. Rapchak

John W. Rapchak, 57, of Mather, Pa. and formerly of Crucible, Pa., died unexpectedly on Friday, November 2, 2018 in his home. He was born July 6, 1961 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of the late Michael and Violet Marie (Bowman) Rapchak, Jr. Mr. Rapchak was a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and resided in Greene County all of his life. He enjoyed hunting and camping.

Surviving are two daughters, Shannon Rhodes of Fredericktown, Pa. and Mandy Sowden of McMurray, Pa.; four grandchildren; a sister, Tammy J. Burnworth and her husband, Dave, of Jefferson, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Marcie J. Rapchak.
