Joshua C. A. Halliday, 27, of Masontown, Pa. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 14, 2021 at his home. He was born June 4, 1993 in Woodbridge, Va., a son of Craig A. Halliday (Lisa) of Uniontown, Pa. and Angel M. Biggs (Randy) of Salineville, Ohio. Joshua attended the Carmichaels Area School District and was a 2011 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. After high school, he proudly served with the U. S. Marine Corps in Afghanistan and was honorably discharged in 2015. Joshua enjoyed spending time with his family, music, sports and making people laugh.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Jessica Halliday of Bradenville, Pa.; two brothers, Jeremy Rannick and Jordan Rannick, both of Salineville; his paternal grandparents, Ronald W. Halliday of Modesto, Cal. and Connie Conway of Carmichaels; his maternal grandfather, David Biggs of Triangle, Va.; several aunts and uncles; two nieces; a nephew and several cousins. He was joined in death by his sister, Kristian Elicia-Marie Loriston and his maternal grandmother, Alice Mae Pier.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and 11 AM until 1 PM, the hour of service on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The Rev. H. David McElroy will officiate. The Greene County Honor Guard and the United States Marine Corps will accord military honors at the funeral home.
The family requests donations to assist them with funeral expenses.
