June Holdsworth Donham, 93, of Garards Fort, Pa., died Monday, January 14, 2019 in the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born June 19, 1925 in Allison, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late George and Pearl (Barkley) Holdsworth. Mrs. Donham was a graduate of Cumberland Township High School and before her marriage was a member of the church choir at the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church in Carmichaels. She was currently a member of the Mapletown United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking and baking. Mrs. Donham was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. On August 16, 1948, she married David G. Donham, who died November 6, 2018.
Surviving are a daughter, Doreen Sue Donham, at home; two grandchildren, Jordan Gnatuk and Wesley Gnatuk; a son-in-law, Claude E. Straight of Huntington, W. Va. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Marian Louise Donham and four sisters, Janet Thompson, Mabel Holdsworth, Ruth Sanner and Georgia Gideon.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 18, 2018. The Rev. Kenneth A. Haines will officiate.
Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Mapletown United Methodist Church, 926 Mapletown Road, Greensboro, PA 15338.
