Kenneth Lee Wright

Kenneth Lee Wright, 61, of Marianna, Pa., passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at his home.  He was born April 19, 1963 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of Clyde Happy and Valetta M. (Berry) Dankovich.  Ken was a 1983 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School.  He worked at Pella Windows, All-Clad and lastly as a self employed building contractor.  Ken enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar, playing Play Station, spotting dear and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a former member of the Marianna Volunteer Fire Company, served on the Marianna Borough Counsel and as a baseball coach in Marianna.  In addition, he was a former member of the Marianna Lyceum Bowling League.

Surviving are two daughters, Penny Faith Spohn (Richard Prentice) and Maryann Wright, both of Marianna; six grandchildren, Gracie Haught, Abbagail Prentice, Meka Joanne Ables, Jade Ables, Blake Trusel and Kenneth Wright Burnsworth; a brother, John Yankura of Rices Landing, Pa., a niece, Carol Jean and the mother of his daughters, Dora McCall of Aurora, Ohio.  Deceased in addition to his parents is his step father, John Dankovich.

The family extends their appreciation for the assistance provided by his caregivers, the Marianna and Cokeburg Volunteer Fire Companies and Ambulance and Chair Service. The family remembers his late caregiver, Julie Monk.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.

The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday with Pastor Jim Walters officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Greene County Memorial Park.
